The CSR-1 provides remote control of volume for each input pair and for the talkback mic, as well as controlling muting, input-source switching, and passive speaker-output switching. The Dim and Mono features can also be controlled from the remote unit.

A built-in electret condenser talkback mic with momentary on/off Talk button enables you to address the musicians through their headphones. (The Central Station main unit also has a talkback mic, so make sure to turn down whichever talkback mic you are using!)

Central Station connects to the CSR-1 via the included proprietary DB15 cable, enabling you to keep the Central Station in your rack and control it from your desktop. This provides maximum convenience with minimum wiring, keeping your workspace free of cable clutter.
