Add lyrics to your scores, songs, productions, and live performances.

Whether you’re creating lead sheets with the Score Editor or adding lyrics as guideposts to your audio productions, you’ll find a use for the Lyrics Track. Lyrics can even be transferred to the Show Page to use during rehearsals or on those long-haul performances.

  • New in 6.1! Lyrics go live.Need to make an adjustment for your live set? Lyrics can now be edited right from the Show Page. Lyrics View in Performance Mode turns your computer, tablet, or large-screen display into a teleprompter, making it ideal for long-haul performances.
  • New in 6.1! Ripple Edit Support. Activate Ripple Edit and swap or rearrange words, lines, or a whole section with a single move.​
  • New in 6.1! Create alternate lyrics inside a song using Scratch Pads. Scratch Pads are a great way of managing alternate versions of a song or section. Now you can experiment with lyrics as well as music.
  • New in 6.1! Show full lyrics on hover. View truncated lyrics simply by hovering over the lyrics event even when zoomed out!
  • New in 6.1! Import lyrics from MIDI files. Lyrics and notes can now be imported simultaneously from MIDI files with a single drag and drop.

Speed up your workflow when mastering by using templates to quickly change your working environment. The new Project Templates allow you to save your preferred main mastering effects chain, including external hardware processors connected via Pipeline. You can even store predefined album metadata.

Maintain full control over the loudness of your album tracks while still meeting the required loudness standard. The new "Album Mode" for Digital Releases on the Project Page analyzes loudness for each track then optimizes loudness equally to all tracks to preserve the relative loudness between tracks rather than setting all the tracks of an album to the same target loudness.

Studio One’s video window now offers an optional large timecode display. Timecode format can be selected from frames, bars, seconds, or samples and is displayed beneath the video viewer, keeping the video image clear of distracting overlays. Take control over channel, track and event colors! Change any color cell to your taste using a convenient color picker, or numeric RGB, HSL, or Hex values to create custom color palettes that can be stored, loaded, and shared on PreSonus exchange. We’ve even included a few presets derived from other DAWs.

Save and recall snapshots of your favorite track setups.

Take your workflow efficiency to a new level! Store every aspect of a given track or channel for instant recall, even for multiple selected tracks/channels. Track Presets store parameters like track delay, time-stretch, follow chords as well as Channel parameters like volume, pan, inserts, send assignments, and more! Track Presets can even be applied to existing channels.

The new De-esser plug-in in Studio One is efficient and intuitively easy to use. Find the problematic frequency with the Listen button, then dial in the amount of S-Reduction using the associated knob together with the S-Mon function.

Combine two input signals to create an entirely new sound processed by an array of bandpass filters. Turn your voice or any audio source into a unique synth or effect. Vocoder will inspire you to play with audio.

An indispensable tool for producers and mixing engineers.

ProEQ now allows each frequency band to be soloed, so you can easily hear even the most surgical adjustments in isolation. In addition to solo, each band now features a dynamic mode to trigger boosts or cuts of the desired frequency band dynamically based on a set amplitude threshold.

New in 6.1! Solo mode is now available for shelf filters.

Advanced Mixer with Fader Flip

Supercharged mixing.

Control FX/Bus sends, sidechains, and Cue Mix sends all from the main faders. Just right-click on the desired send and select “Flip" to control the entire send mix for the selected bus from the channel faders. Unassigned channels can be hidden from view or activated as needed.

Alternative Panning Modes

Flexible panning options for stereo channels.

You can now choose between balance, dual or binaural panning for any stereo channel. The new panner pop-up editor provides a large pan control, a context menu to switch between modes, plus dedicated controls for each mode. The basic balance control remains available in all mixer views, as well as a standard pan control for external hardware controllers.

Mixer Channel Overview

Focused views for individual channels.

The new Channel Overview provides a single, consolidated view of all channel parameters, including input controls, inserts, sends, and Cue Mix sends for the selected channel.

Pin the Channel Overview anywhere on any screen and it automatically follows the channel selection. Channel Overview is an ideal way to work on the sound of a single channel quickly and intuitively across multiple plug-ins without having to open a dedicated plug-in editor.

Browser Favorites and Folders

The Browser you love, just got better.

Organize plug-in and instrument presets into custom folders that you can create right inside the Browser. Presets for plug-ins and virtual instruments can now be marked as Favorites. Presets marked as Favorites are automatically mirrored inside a new “Favorites” folder at the top of the respective preset list.

Updated Start Page and so much more!

Studio One’s Start Page is now even more flexible. Organize your Songs, Projects, and Shows into custom folders allowing you to put all the files associated with a single artist or production in one convenient location. Pin favorites documents and view all your shared PreSonus Sphere documents in a single folder.

Producers and mixing engineers working with multiple artists can now manage and create a unique Artist Profile preset for each client. Each profile includes name, genre, website, and an image – all of which are embedded as ID3 tags when exporting a mixdown for streaming or digital download.
